KanMax is engineered to meet the demanding lubrication requirements of industrial air and gas compressors, formulated at ISO VG 150 to deliver consistent performance across a range of operating conditions. Oxidation stability is a critical property for compressor oils, since these lubricants are often exposed to high operating temperatures and repeated compression cycles that can accelerate oil breakdown. KanMax is formulated to resist oxidation, helping to maintain oil quality and performance over extended service intervals.

Wear protection is another core focus of this formulation, with additive packages designed to reduce friction and metal-to-metal contact between moving compressor components such as pistons, cylinders, and bearings.
